Anger, rage, bitterness, revenge, disgust, resentment, hatred, loathing, contempt, chaos, ferocity, destruction and death…

These are some of the many faces of the dark feminine. Each one is a doorway into sacred empowerment, wisdom and aliveness. Encountering where they lay hidden within brings us into deeper conscious embodiment in our lives, more able to openly, powerfully and meaningfully relate with all of existence.

The very places we don’t want to go into within ourselves – or others don’t want us to – is often the source of our deepest healing and transformation. Usually numbed into seeming non-existence, occasionally spilling over creating havoc in our lives, with deep rooted ritual supports and invoking the Sacred, the ‘enraged mask’ of buried wounds can be surfaced and safely encountered. Doing so allows ancient toxicity to be transmuted into life force and deeper layers of feeling and wisdom to emerge. With this we can welcome home the shut down and split off parts of our beings, becoming more alive, more whole, live more aligned with our deepest truth.

As the ‘spiritual activist’ author Andrew Harvey says: “How can you have the sacred marriage when the bride is tied up in the basement?”

Through this weekend ritual we will work with the potent medicine of Medusa, Persephone, Hekate, Black Moon, Eris and Medea. You do not need to know their myths, or believe in astrology, just be hungry for opening to more of who you are.

We will be Embodying The Sacred Dark Goddesses through movement, breath, intention and meditation. So wear comfortable layered clothing, bring a sealed water bottle, your journal, and any items you wish to power up on the alter.
