We were going to work on The Mystery & Mastery of Mercury, but like his namesake quicksilver, he’s slipped out of focus, with the astro-weather guiding us into Deep Heart Renewal with Venus. The Mind yields to the Heart.

Venus is the Goddess of love, beauty, sex and creativity. She’s entering 40 days and nights of retrograde reflection in Scorpio… the sign of sex, death, taboo and transformation. Here Venus is lighting the fire within us for living in all-consuming intimate love… and nothing less.

The dross she might be burning through to help us get there could be ancient and forgotten, or deeply rooted and present, or like a veil of ignorance we didn’t even know was hiding the full potential of ecstatic-embodied-loving-union that we could dare to even consider for ourselves in this life.

Venus’ reflective tour of our psyche’s darkest depths is being given generational flare for many of us as she dances a birth chart transit with the masculine transformers of Neptune for those born in ’53-’62, Uranus ’73-’77, or Pluto ’81-’88. Each of these heavy weights will bring a different color to the light shinning your pathway forward.

Even without one of these natal conjunctions in your chart, Venus is not messing around.

This could be intense for many of us and our intimate relationships. Old flames revisiting, fated and flawed attractions, fractures in fidelity and friendships, and falling forward through flaming bright and intense love – personal, divine or humanly divine – all are possible during this time. Be careful, go gentle, but know big karmic reckonings are afoot, with radical openings and unions possible for the brave and blessed.
