2019 gets going under the influence of a potent Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse… with the expressive Leo Moon together with Merlin, The Master of Magical Transformation…. both opposing the Sun in visionary Aquarius that is lighting up Lakshmi, The Goddess of Abundance (with harmony, purpose and awakening).

Our forward visions for manifesting the lives we want could suddenly shift as we clean up how we express ourselves and embody our creative powers. Eclipses regularly coincide with unexpected revelations and changes in our lives. Lunar Eclipses tend to bring completions, especially in relationships. With Lakshmi’s radiant allure being shadowed, we might see more clearly where ours and other’s subtle Merlin Magicks are not as clean or evolved as we’d like, and how we can shift out from under undue influences and embody more sovereign, sacred and safe transformational graces… particularly in relation to generating abundance *in balance* with Lakshmi’s other gifts of harmony, purpose and awakening.

This eclipse will be especially potent if you have anything within 5 degrees of the first degree of Leo or Aquarius in your natal chart, or squaring them near 1 degree in Taurus or Scorpio. Collectively Uranus is likely to add more illuminating lightning bolts of change, like he did throughout late 2018’s Venus retrograde (and possibly bringing to an end any unexpected new or rekindled romances begun during this time), by opposing Pallas-Athena (our wise, independent yin warrior) and thus forming a Grand Cross with the Eclipse.

The Grand Cross also widely ties in the North Node of Fate and South Node of Karmas (where Mercury is contributing by showing the hand of slippery illusions and ancient word magicks). Any Grand Cross with the Moon’s Nodes is a potent inflection point of change… add a Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse into the mix and the scale is exponential.

The feel of Merlin, Lakshmi and Mercury working together, along with Mary Magdalene still guiding Uranus, however, suggests it could be subtle, delicate and high level (near causal) change work. And that is really exciting, as the scope of change increases even as the efforts involved become simpler. Watch though that the simplest things are sometimes the hardest for us to accept and innocently do!
