Venus & Mars – A Full Moon Healing Renewal

In a simple potent ritual we’ll move through the lessons of the tensions between Mars and Venus that have been alive for us recently, and then dance them into a renewed union.

Venus and Mars are the core personally polarised energies in our beings. They are our Lover and our Warrior; Our Yin and Yang; Our Feminine and Masculine. Enlivened from at least puberty, they embody the energetic foundations of our loving, sexuality, sensuality, intimacy and creativity.

On the day of the Autumnal Equinox we’ll gather to harvest the fruits of Summer (and last Spring when Venus was in an epic retrograde), just as Mars in stubborn Taurus and Venus in innovative Aquarius are forming into a tight square of heated discussion. The Great Mother and shadow revealing Black Moon is with Venus, helping surface the deeper sources of these primal tensions, and bring Her Grace to the proceedings. Chiron the Wounded Healer and Vesta the Priestess of Sacred Purpose are flanking the Sun to escort it from slippery Pieces into action orientated Aries, all informed by the opposition of Hecate the Crone Witch of the Crossroads in thoughtful Virgo guiding the Moon to her Fullness in balancing Libra (exact 12:43pm the next day, Thursday 21st). The astro-weather suggests there is immense support for sacred healing steps to be taken into more harmonious balance in our intimate relating: both within ourselves and with others.
