Pallas-Athena – Paths Beyond Patriarchy

December 21st 2020: Oh what a line up! Oh what a year! What a decade we’re INTO now!

Coming hot on the heels of two eclipses the Summer Solstice is going to be a potent pivot point, a fulcrum of change, setting our personal and collective course into this decade of reformation. Much will be made of “The Great Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction” peaking early the next morning and how it rings the bell for the concluding phase of 2+ years of Pluto-Saturn conjunctions ending in February and the beginning of the age of Aquarius.

The tensions between Mars, Saturn and Jupiter often shape the form of our yang dimensions, our inner masculine, finding our unique active balancing between Mars’ desire and cut through, Saturn’s structure and discipline, and Jupiter’s joyous expansive benevolence. But the real healing revolution of our times is in moving beyond the patriarchal distortions in each of them. Sadly sometimes we need to go deeply into such knotted wounds to bring light to their nature and reveal ways to unwind them. The big events and social shifts of 2019-2020 well example the start of this kind of evolution; where the collective currents have many acutely personal touch points.

Mercury remains closely conjunct the Sun in Capricorn through this eclipse season. Mercury is lit up as a mainline connection to the divine, in peak “messenger of the Gods” mode. This signals a time for listening, learning and sharing new knowledge, insights and intuitions, a time for scoping out fresh divine visions for earthly plans and how to reliably manifest them.

But who or what is the source of the divine inspiration we might follow? Enter Jupiter’s daughter Pallas-Athena. She’s been the sole persistent feminine presence amongst the Saturn/Pluto/Jupiter dance through Capricorn this year. Born of Jupiter’s brow, a sign of divine creative intelligence, she’s a wise owl of a warrior, the patron of cities and organised collectives, the champion of freedom, democracy and skilfully fighting for what is righteous: and winning!

Throughout this year Pallas-Athena has been insistently asking the question: what’s worth fighting for? She’s been urging us to look to the bigger picture, to distil our wisdom in combination with our wishes for our lives and relations, and chart a winning strategy. One that finds a path through the patriarchal limits in conflicted display by Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, while besting a regressive destructive warrior response from Mars, into manifesting a life worth living, a legacy worth leaving. She’s calling us to a creative intelligence that blends heart and mind, structure and flow, agency and communion, the earthly and divine.

So come, let’s figure out what our personal Jupiter and Saturn are debating, get healing insights from Chiron the Wounded Healer/Shaman who is sextyiling them all, and open to fresh guidance from Pallas Athena to chart a more viable and desirable future trajectory.

> If you do not have a copy of The Astrolacle you will need paper and pens (or colored markers etc) to draw the sigils we’ll be working with.

> This is an online event using Zoom… and your face needs to remain visible throughout so the energetic container can be held and responsibly facilitated. Please do not use Zoom via browser or phone call as key functionality is missing.

> Please ensure you will have a private room, undisturbed by others, where you are able to move around, including dancing, laying down and sitting up comfortably, and are able to make noise of at least a moderate to loud speaking volume, all while remaining visible (in line of sight of the camera, and with good enough lighting).

> You need a high quality internet connection and enough power in your device, and/or a direct power cable, to last the full session.

> You will want to connect external speakers or at least wireless ear buds/headphones so you are not restricted in your movement while dancing to music.

> Please ensure you’ve got everything you need to be comfortable… some water to drink, a yoga mat for laying down, pillows/bolsters for sitting, blankets and layered clothing to accommodate changing temperatures.
